One of my good friends is getting maaaaarried!
I have known Alex for almost three years now. We nannied for families down the street from each other and became fast friends. We would have play dates with our nanny kiddos whenever possible, and grab coffee together when we weren’t working. She is, honestly, one of the sweetest people I know and I’m so glad to know her.
Alex and Jon have been together for many years, having met in high school. More specifically, they met while walking out of the band practice rooms at Barrington High School. After that, Jon began playing the guitar for Alex and Alex accompanied with piano in the practice rooms. Since they have such a huge tie with the high school, we decided to photograph their engagement session there! They showed me the rooms they used to practice in, they wandered the main halls they used to walk daily, showed me the gorgeous auditoreum, and Jon serenaded Alex with his guitar that he has had since the high school days. Their love flooded every room and hall we went into.
This was one of my favorite engagement sessions I have photographed, and I’m so excited to share them with you all!
